Have had Q10 for four months. My previous phone was a 2G. About seven yrs old. The Q10 is vastly superior. But you will have to shift gears.

most people come hjere to find solutions to their probs with the phones,,,, but we are a minority.

most peeps are having no probs with the q10.... me included.

What is your PRIMARY function for your smartphone:

Email & PIM functionality, OR: apps & social media.

We can probably better help you out once get a better understanding of what you will use the device for.

If it's the former, stick with the 9930 (at least for now...)

I agree completely with Wayne Enterprises. So much depends on what your priorities are for your smartphone.

BB10 makes establishing those priorities more impt than ever, because there's so little that it down better than the competition.

1. If a hrd kepboard is essential to you: this is ur device.

2. If social media integration is highly valuable to yopu, this may be ur device -- I can't comment because I find the delays and added steps that come with this part of BB10 a negative teadeoff.

3. If Apps are highly impt to u, this is not ur device.

4. If browsing is imp to u, this is amixed bag with fast bowsijg speed and inferior browsing navigation.

5. If camera is impt to u, this is camera is inferior to competive standards.

6. And sadly, if contact management is impt to you, I cannot comment on cpetitive device, but the Q10s Contacts function is full of oproblems and flaws. Be prepared.

Overall, this is a great community get perspectives and we're here to help.
