- Depends on your carrier, most if not all are on some version of 10.1 right now. Rumor is that 10.2 will start releasing to carriers within a few weeks as its already on the z30.
OR, you could install one of the very stable 10.2 leaks here in the forums!
Posted via CB1010-12-13 10:52 PMLike 0 - Go with a leak-so much better with so many features that 10.1 doesn't have. I haven't been on 10.1 since I got my Q10 in June. Countless leaks with none of them bad--some better than others but none were bad. You won't regret it. The most current is .1791

- Wow! Too many small thing to list: Android sideloading with jellybean 4.2.2 locked and unlocked runtime/light and dark themes available in all applications/smoother operation and navigation/ improvement with hub management/account management/ add-on features that are too many to note on here. Basically go to the Leaked/beta forums and read about leaks in general and the ease of upgrading. With every leak that has been posted the features are listed in the posts along with different files you can sideload if something isn't to your liking-like maybe the radio file isn't good in your area so you need to load a different radio file that works better for you. Check it out and if you haven't loaded a leak before on BB10 please read the instruction video prior to loading. To answer another question- it is much easier loading leaks and official releases on BB10 then the old Legacy 9800/xxxx phones.

To get the latest Q10 OS, Sprint (310 150)has 10.1.0.4828 for SQN100-4, which is compatible for all Q10s.
However, TIM (222 001) has 10.2.0.1761 for STA100-2. Grabbing the debrick URLs with Sachesi gives one URL for the OS (qc8960.factory_sfi) and one URL for the Z30 radio (qc8960.wtr5). Simply rename any instance of qc8960.wtr5 to qc8960.wtr to get the Q10 radio. Downloading the OS and Q10 radio files would give you the constituent parts of 10.2.0.1761 for Q10 (which still needs to be packaged into an autoloader).
The same also works if one selects upgrade mode instead of debrick.

So if you set the settings to Sprint (country 310, carrier 120) and device to SQN100-4, the app should tell you that there's an update to 10.1.0.4828 available:
Attachment 210283
Now, if you click Grab Links, it should throw a list of files on BlackBerry servers corresponding to the contents of the OS you selected.
Attachment 210284
Go back to Sachesi and click Download All. In the meantime, back up your phone with BlackBerry Link (or Sachesi, it does that too).
Once everything is downloaded and your phone is backed up, click the Install tab, plug in your phone, close BlackBerry Link (if it was open), and open a folder with all the files you downloaded. Select them, drag them onto the Install tab and wait for the process to finish.
You can do the same thing if you set the Country to 222, Carrier to 001 and Device to Z30 STA100-2, giving you 10.2.0.1761:
If you do the same thing as before, you should notice a line in the update URL list that goes like this:
Code:http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/qnx/production/b57f2f9750976fa91f05c30224d6809e42f42e30/com.qnx.qcfm.radio.qc8960.wtr5/10.2.0.1762/qc8960.wtr5-10.2.0.1762-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

go1ndr and Danny Ocean like this.10-13-13 08:36 AMLike 2 - If you are on Verizon Wireless, you should be able to get it one of two way. First, go to settings, then software updates, then tap "check for update."
Second, connect to BlackBerry Link on your PC and have it check for updates.
I should mention that even though I get Q10SQN100-2/10.1.0.4699 when I type "myver" on my phone, my settings screen says that I am running 10.1.0.4189.

- Hey Thurask, How do you determine the country codes, and carrier ID to put on Sacesi. For instance I'm in So California , USA and my carrier for my Q10SQN100-1 (.1676) is on AT&T. I've looked at the charts on line but can't determine what they are--user error on my part I'm sure, but regardless, if you know, can you post here for me/others, please. Thank you!10-14-13 03:25 PMLike 0
