    Hi why is it that the keyboard on the Q feels different depending on which country you buy it in? I have one from London with a soft keyboard and one from the middle east with a stiffer one.

    It shouldn't depend on where you bought it it's probably from different batches

    My guess is: different keyboard providers for the production lot of each phone you have.

    Is it the entire keyboard or certain keys? there was an issue long ago about a "Squishy" spacebar... that's about it. There shouldn't be a huge difference in keyboards, no matter where they're purchased. I've used Q10's purchased in Canada, US and even the Caribbean/Latin America...all were identical.

    For critical components vendors are often reluctant to practice single sourcing. For example, Lenovo uses two different vendors for all of its ThinkPad laptop keyboards. BlackBerry may be doing the same thing.

    thats funny I notice that as well. this one feels a little more plastic the others I had were more stiff.
    Im going to ask the seller if it was replace before. its that much different.

    Hey this one which I am using is the best one but it's packaged for Africa made in canada(the usual) but by far this is the best kb on my q10 so far.
