Is it possible to remove the frets from the device? And what's the frets material that's used?
I don't know if this has been posted before sorry

Rear fret near camera is metal, the keyboard frets are plastic and are I believe not removable

Is it possible, yes, but I would do it on a spare keyboard, and have an extra back up as well. Needless to say you have to be VERY careful.

Fret on the keyboard is plastic with 4 tabs that go into the keyboard.

I took a look at an old keyboard, I was able to remove and put back the top fret, had I been more careful, I wouldn't have warped it.

I have to say though, I tried removing the other frets, and bent the tips and they broke off... but I was using a fingernail... I would imagine you would need to pry it off using a key as leverage.

Yeah I'm so disappointed that they are plastic and not steel like the 1 on the rear.

You can buy the Q10 gold edition for cheap now. I think shop BlackBerry UK had it for a while. I don't think it's worth gold plating yourself.

I want a black gold, not white gold
I can buy the black keyboard with gold frets but If I plated the bezel and back fret I don't know if they'll look the same color that's why I was asking if it's removable
