I guess I'm so addicted to my Q10 that every other phone I use I try to swipe up to unlock. Doh. My work phone and all the other phones I encounter day to day (I work for AT&T mind you) I have done the same thing too. Well at least that means I actually like the phone despite the minor regressions they have made with this OS. Once they fix the details it should be a great phone.

I was helping a friend fix his Galaxy S 4G, and kept trying to swipe up to minimize his apps. It was annoying.

It's really annoying since I keep insisting the screen unlock... 2-3 times before I realize and push the button.

    All. The. Time. LOL!

I'm doing it to my 9900 (which I'm now using as an alarm clock).

I'm doing it to my iPad -- like 5 or 6 swipes before I figure out why it's not turning on.

And I caught myself doing it to my laptop earlier this week. And I'm ashamed to admit -- it took 2 swipes before I figured out why it wasn't waking up.

I've been using a Surface Pro for the past few months as a laptop replacement. It has the convenience of being gesture-focused as well, just different gestures in most cases.

There are certainly times I find myself confusing the two!

I'm going to find a way to rig my Ducati so it has my (to be patented) "Swipe to start" technology. Screw push to start hahaha

It's amazing that after all of the different phones I have used that I became accustomed to BBOS10 so quickly. It really shows just how natural the swipes are.

    Love my Q10

BB10 is not the only phone you swipe up to unlock though. My friend has an LG (can't remember the model, but with a 3D caneta), and has to do the same.

Is it a new release? The BB10 phones are the only phones you swipe to unlock without pressing any button/key first (unless you have the gesture turned off).

I'm sure other phones swipe up as well, but BB10 are the only devices that do it from sleep without the need to press the lock button or any key for that matter.

Part of the reason I decided to switch from iphone 4 to q10 was having used the playbook and it's gestures I would constantly curse the iphone for not working properly then realizing I had to push a button
