    Hey folks, I recently bought the Q10 and am adding good apps to it however I have a couple apps from previous phone that are .ipa files. Can I convert these to .bar files so that I can side load them? Or how would I go about being able to use these apps?

    Appreciate any info you could give me....thanks in advance!

    You can't. .IPA files are iPhone apps. Your only hope is to become a developer ... heh - https://developer.blackberry.com/nat...ios_intro.html

    ah, crap. Wasn't sure if they could just be converted over or not. That's not good news but appreciate the reply. Becoming a developer sounds like it might be complicated.

    You could get the android apk's of the apps you have, convert them to bars and sideload them.

    I mean if the app you want to use on your bb has an android version, get the apk from the interwebs and use it. Let's say you want to use, let's say, the IMDB app you had on your iphone and have the .ipa on your computer. Search for the android version of the IMDB app and sideload it. Pretty simple.
    Obviously, this only works for free apps, unless you want to pirate them .

    Okay, got you now. Thought you meant there was a way to convert to apk which I didn't think there was....
