Remember selecting words by shift+trackpad? Well with trackpad gone, I was wondering if Q10 could get shift+swiping instead. Text selection is much better in OS 10.1 but i still miss the shift selecting

I believe it was Shift + Trackpad...

But regardless, I had same idea too.
Would be so intuitive for legacy BBOS users who have migrated to BB10.

I like this idea too. Definitely prefer something that happens right away and not require you to long touch anything... Just start the selection if you hold shift and swipe across text, then you can drag the little pointers to fine tune your selection... Sounds like a plan...
