Just switched over to the Q from the Z10 today. Wanted the keyboard back and the comfort of the Q. Look forward to typing and coming back to Blackberry roots.

Went from a 9900 to a Q10 last Friday... think I'll keep the Q10! Got antsy waiting for the Classic, and have had a fun/frustrating week learning BB10 so far. Hoping for a nice, stable 10.3.1 release very soon. (10.2.1.2156 now)

Likes: Keyboard (not as much butter as 9900, but it's still damned good), battery life, sound quality, unlock button, ability to run android apps to fill the gaps

Dislikes: Learning curve on swiping and flow, built-in Alarm Clock, Amazon Appstore not exactly the panacea it's being pitched as

BTW, the posters here on Crackberry are one of the reasons I came back to BB in June, so thank you all for the vivacious community! /deepbow

Fyi... over the weekend I noticed when I picked up my android tablet I kept trying to swipe up from bottom of screen to get to apps. So yeah, it takes a week for that to become part of you.

I still wish I could get to the hub with one button or swipe. I do the gesture, but that seems to take me to where I was last in hub (sms, facebook etc). I haven't found a gesture yet to "take me to the hub" in the same way that selecting the hub icon does from applist.

I wish they included an extra button on the bezel that you could program to do anything - open the camera, or even open the Hub, for example.

Typed with dazzling speed and accuracy on my Q10

Yeah. I'm eager to assign a key to the "Blackberry Hub" app in 10.3.1 and see how that goes. /shrug

I've had 2 used Q10 's in the past and sold them. Moved on to iPhone's, Notes, and Galaxys. Tired of all these and find myself reaching for my 9900 whenever I have WiFi?

I just ordered a white/gold Q10 off of Amazon to hold me over until the Classic comes out.

I was wondering how my black Q10's bezel got scratches when I had put it in a BB flip case since day one. I don't pull the case out that often, and I am really careful when I'm cleaning it. Weird is, only on the lower right side of the bezel. And the exposed parts have mo scratches even if it is in the bag with coins and keys. Same thing happened with my 9900 using a Capdase soft case. The bezel has scratches even if it is covered by the case.

    Hello there,

1 month with the Q10 and deeply in love with this phone.
Come from a 9700 ; only use my phone for emails, text messages and calls. In fact i didn't need the Q10 because the 9700 fit my needs perfectly but it was my birthday and my girlfriend wanted to offer me a more actual version of my phone.

This phone is all about efficiency and that's all i need.
Keeping an eye on the Passport, even if the Q10 is great, but the Passport has 'this' thing. Maybe the only smartphone since years being innovative.

    Cheers from France

I've just got my first BB and it's a Q10 I'm moving from Android so there's a lot of things I need to get used to: like the shortcuts, finding alternativenative apps, and so on but the experience for the first few days is great. Feeling really mature already. I've been swiping up and pressing shortcuts like a boss for a few days now.

I was planning to wait for the Classic but then it seemed to be delayed and the price sure is not going to be as cheap so I must got my hand on the Q10 right when it's cheapest.

It kills me how people believe that their apple or android phone is the best out there. They actually have to buy apps that do what the blackberry is made to do right out the box. My q10 is my tool for everything it makes me more efficient for my day to day tasks. I found a phone that fits my life and not a phone I have to adjust myself too. It's also so durable. I've dropped it a few times and it's still flawless.

Hi. Onboard with a Q10, received today, as my work email beast. Looking forward to it. A bargain, to boot. It's a long time since I've used a BB. Between it and my iPhone 6 I think I have the bases covered.

The bezel has scratches even if it is covered by the case.

This often happens if the case is not 100% fitting or sloppily applied and cleaned. Dust and sand are getting into the space between case and bezel, gather there and scratch the phone when the case is rubbed against the bezel. The only thing helping with this is very regularly taking the phone out of the case and cleaning it.

I personally use leather pouches and remain skeptical on cases since this happened to my 9900 and an iPhone. No problems so far with scratching.

Just ordered mine (black, GSM model, hopefully unbranded) from Amazon. Been a big Windows Phone user for a few years now - absolutely loved WP 7.0, but 8.1 is starting to lose me - and have really gotten frustrated with typing on glass. Hopefully the traditional Blackberry keyboard is as awesome as it always was.
