100+ were queuing whilst only one posted here?
I think most of those 100+ are too busy with their new toy. Give it a couple of days and we should see this thread take off.
exciting!!! .. can't wait to get mine next week!!!
Right... because every last one of them in line is a CB member ;)
If not, they should be ;)
Does the Q10 come with a leather pouch or similar? Thanks
If if you look through the earlier posts you will see this:-
"In addition to the handset, the box contains the battery, a micro-USB charging cord, USB power-plug, black earbuds, some tiny manuals and an advertisement for Snapdragon."
So no pouch I am afraid.
Sooo Jealous!!!
I had mine pre-ordered for a while now, and I checked with Carphone Warehouse, they don't dispatch them until 30th :crying:
Can't wait to get it!
@bboros Congrats! :yes:
How's the back of the device, does it have a rubberish feel as reported by some users?
Any more photos from other new Q10 owners?
If so, post below with a photo for us all to see.http://htcf.info/13.jpg
Sadly, no. Nor will it fit in a 9900-series phone pouch.
Buying more stock, the scenes from Selfridges today are completely inconsistent with a stock trading at a discount to book value.

The Q10 is sexy.
congrats to all of you!!!!
do the keys on Q10 sound loud and click like the 9900?

Anyone moved from a z10 to a q10 and what's you're initial impression??
A few answers to queries above:
The back feels slightly rubbery, it feels like what you'd get if you mixed glass, rubber and plastic together. It's definitely not soft rubber though and it provides a nice texture for holding.
The keys do make loud clacks just like the 9900s, the software version is 10.1.0.238 and mine was made in Mexico 5.

p.s. I have my email account connected via ActiveSync and was able to pull all 10000+ emails to the phone via the "forever" setting. Searching works fine for emails years back, and I think the phone indexes the emails because the search is virtually instant. The Q10 did get quite hot for the first few hours whilst retrieving and indexing the mailboxes...
Doesn't CPW or P4U actually run those mobile phone stores within each Selfridges, it makes sense they would also offer contracts too.
It feels similar to (but nicer somehow) the back of a playbook or recent kindle with a matte finish rather than the glossy plastic of the 9900 battery cover that looks so cheap in comparison.
Thanks bboros, answers my question. might stick to the Z10 for abit then. I do a massive amounts of emails in the middle of the night and the clicking of my 9900 was waking my baby up next to me. the Q10 really is going great be epic though.

Is the sim card for q10 same size as the bold 9900? Sorry but I don't know the sim card size terminology. Thanks in advance...
I don't believe so. That's why I'm delaying buying it. A shame really I wanted to swap between my two device on the fly...

Nope. Q10 is using a smaller sim card, known as "micro sim". The one the 9900 uses is called a "mini sim". The normal sim is credit card size, I have an old Motorola using that. Lol. Anyway, the iphone is using an even smaller one called "nano" sim.
If you're think of switching to the Q10, but is concerned about sim size, do note that you can simply get someone to cut it to micro sim size for you so that it works with the Q10. Really nothing to lose. If you want to switch between your bold 9900, it does work as well if you align the contacts on the sim properly on the 9900, don't even need an adapter. If anything I think it's more risky using an adapter. Just ask Kevin.
