Yesturday i was in store at SFR ( france ) to buy the Q10 i waited 2 months for, and sadly the update for the 10.2 version froze for an hour.
The woman there said that it was maybe because of the BBM launch that occured 2 ago and the server was too busy. I am disapointed because those who want to buy a blackberry should have priority, imo, on those who have an iPhone or Android and just want the app.
Still i can wait 2 more days i guess, my replacement phone is a 9320 and it's between life and death so i hope the problem will be fixed soon.

I hate the feeling of waiting for a gadget you really really want. I too had to wait 2 days until I finally had it in my hands. It was worth the wait. Hang in there, my friend.

That's weird that the update did that. I never set my phone up in the store. I go home and do all the updates or whatever needs to be done on my WiFi network.

I think your update would have gone through if you did it on your WiFi at home. I've never heard of the software update and BBM servers interfering with each other. But at least the sales rep knew about the cross-platform BBM launch.

Thanks for the answers guys ! I'll go back to the store tommorow there's a storm outside ( i think the universe doesn't want me to get this phone ), the sale rep did the update for me and said that they sold like 2 Q's without having any problem. Truth is i'm kinda worried now, they had to reboot the phone 4 times, maybe more, do you think this is going to make it laggy ?

PS : I'm actually the guy who looks like will.i.am lol
