    Recently I installed Hub++, played around with it and setup up VIPs and ringtones when all of the sudden the speaker got really distorted and crackled. I bought a new mid plate & speaker and everything was back to normal.... untill I installed Hub++ after a clean wipe. I thought the speaker sounded louder on certain tones I was setting up and bam! Speaker started to distort and sound really harsh so I fitted another spare mid plate and all is well again. I really like Hub++ but don't want to risk blowing a speaker again, anyone had a similar problem?

    never had this issue, no. Must be your ringtone is recorded at too high a level.
