    "Should" be no problem.

BUT, you never know.... it could fail and you might have to force a reload of the software using LINK.

Personally I'd update LINK (there was a new version just the other day). Then do a full backup - SD Card shouldn't be a problem, but you can remove it if you are worried. Then have LINK check for updated software for your device and let it download it and install it.

IF there is a problem (small chance) then you will loose your Sideload Apps and will have to reinstall them.

NO you don't have to update, but you should.

Your messages and maybe your contacts won't be there right away after you reboot after the update. They will take a few minutes to re-sync. Also, the first reboot will probably take at least ten minutes. Its completely normal.

I'm in the U.S. On Sprint. Sprint doesn't have 10.2 yet. I used Sachesi and downloaded the official 10.2 from Rogers in Canada.

Ok, so i'm less frustrated now.

After 5 BB's and 7+ years, I'm not installing another damn leak. If the 10.2 or 10.2.1 doesn't come out on ATT for my Q before February and my upgrade, you can absolutely bet it's back to iPhone. Will I miss my keyboard, yes, but will the features I am missing from my BB be accessible and the wait time diminished? Yes.

I'm sick of hearing of 10.2.1, and all that jazz.

The 10.2 I was running wasn't a leak. It was official from another carrier, something I did with almost every blackberry I've ever owned. However, now I'm running 10.2.1, and that is a leaked version, my first leak ever.
