Hi

I downloaded 821 yesterday.
I backed up the system and started the autoloader.
At first everything was fine, program is running, green light is on.
But after couple of minutes, the program showed error "Failed to load images / Communication time out" then it will turn off.
My BB Q10 will not start, just red led flashing (like this - * *** ** . 6 times. What does this mean? Anybody speaks LED language? ) and I tried back up which didn't work, tried to put it back to factory setting using BB Link which also didn't work, tried to load 10.2, didn't work either.
Now I can't do anything.
Can anybody help me ?

Sounds like you soft bricked your device.
You need to connect to your PC, double click the OS exe and see if you can get a new OS loaded. I would try 821 again.

Give that a try while we are waiting for someone else with experience to post here to help you....

Were you able to get it fixed?

I have the exact same issue and my Z30 is blinking the same way. I have tried reloading etc and it just wont take. Communication error everytime. Link sits there forever.

I was able to get it working.

I unplugged all my other USB peripherals except keyboard and mouse. I then connected the blackberry to another USB port. It worked. The autoloader took and all is ok now.
