I had a 9720 and my main email account is an @zoho.com mail. So the BB OS 7.1 never gave me the option to sync contacts with that email, thus, they were all on the phone.

Now I just upgraded to a Q10 and when adding my email account, it synced all my contacts to my Zoho Mail account. Well that's great! but I ended up with many duplicate contacts or a single contact that displays it is linked to both LOCAL CONTACTS and ZOHO

So now I am cleaning up all the mess by deleting all the phone contacts and only relying on the Zoho Mail synced accounts which sounds more convenient to me since I would be able to access the contacts from my webmail as well.

With all this said, I haven't installed Skype or signed into LinkedIn or Facebook YET, what do I need to do to ensure I don't mess up my contacts when I do get or sign into those apps? I heard a lot of people with such complaints here

I have had that issue before - many times you have to manually Link multiple contacts together
