I have a Q10 and a Z10. They are both fully synchronised and theoretically I could use one or the other with the same information on both. But to use one or the other, I need to swap the SIM card. In France, a second SIM card can only be used for the phone, not the internet. Any ideas? Thanks m

I haven't found a good enough reason for me to sim swap and use my Z10 for a day. I thought I'd find at least one reason by now. I prefer to use my Z10 for watching YouTube but then again I prefer using my PlayBook for YouTube over the Z10.

Maybe YouTube whilst on wifi?

There are hundreds of people on this forum claiming to use more than one phone, including Kevin. I wonder how they do it. Do they have multiple phone numbers?

The Netherlands we have carriers that gives you two sim with the same number and you can us them at the same time, with different devices.

As I said in France you cannot have a second SIM card with internet access, only phone access.

Vodafone Germany gives me 3 simcards with the Same nummer and so i can Run my Z10 my 9900 and my Ipad3 at the Same time but only one device is getting SMS.

Yes. For me, I got the Z10 as main phone and a samsung galaxy something/whatever on prepaid.

In germany it is called multisim and can be used simultan Internet etc.
But can only receive on 1 device sms

Ask your provider for that

I cannot believe that it is not possible in france.

Well people usually just swap the sims from phone to phone.

You could just use hotspot feature on the Z10 while using Q10 as main phone and use the q10's data connection to surf internet on the z10. Just remember most Hotspot speeds are very low around the 3-6 mb download so don't try and download HUGE files as it would take forever over hotspot.

Now as for Kevin he most likely has a Business Account that allows for who knows 10-15-20 devices to be hooked up with multiple numbers and sims. Its Big bucks for sure.

I have iphone 4. BB Bold 9000 and my Z10 and use hotpsot if I want to browse on iphone while Z10 is charging and I use BB bold 9000 as a reliable back up device has been for 5 yrs now working awesome and is all original except the BALL I had replaced this dec 2012.

If I wish to use my iphone 4, I carry the SIM TRAY pop out pin in my wallet so I can pop out the sim tray in iphone 4 and then insert my sim into it, fast and convenient.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 just before my Z10 and I sold it just prior to buying Z10 and I am glad I did as the S3 sucks.

Oh just to note my BB bold 9000 is UNLOCKED my only unlocked device so far, but I can now unlock the Z10 and Iphone 4 from Rogers for 50.00 each. but online I found a place for Z10 for 22.00 for unlock code. I never used them yet, but will soon enough.

I use my Q10 as a full time phone and I use the Z10 and PlayBook through the Q10's mobile hotspot. It's a pretty sweet combination of goods!!!
