I'm going to buy the iPhone 5S when it comes out, because it's the same price as a 32 GB iPod.... and I wanted a larger iPod anyways.

I would probably use my iPhone as a "weekend phone" and use my Q10 during the week and be my daily driver.

So my question is, can I use both and switch out the sd card? and how can I be able to use both?

Do you mean Sims card? iPhone doesn't have a sd card slot. Depending on carrier you shouldn't have an issue swapping out Sims from one phone to another.

iPhones don't use SD Cards,

as for SIM Cards, no, the iPhone 5 used a Nano sim, and I'm sure the 5S will follow suit

Except for that whole microSIM/nanoSIM thing. Essentially, you'd have to make the iPhone the main SIM used device and buy an adapter to make it a microSIM for the Q10.
