    Hey, so I got a Q10 for a good price as a present to my girlfriend. I got it that cheap because it is tied to the O2 network. Now I still have time until my girlfriends birthday so I would like to ask you the best ways to unlock the device.

    Buy an unlock code - http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-unlocking-f157/ or ask O2 for it.

    The problem is I don`t live in the UK. In order to unlock it from O2 (as I heard) you need to have a contract or a prepaid card from O2. And I can`t have any of it.

    There are multiple sites you can use. You can check out cellularunlock to get the code. There are people on ebay that offer it as well. It will cost ~30-50 USD for the code.
