I got a Q10 and I love it, to cut a long story short, I dropped the phone and I cracked my screen. I found the LCD screen locally and then went on YouTube and found this video, I was super happy with how easy it was to fix and it didn't take me that long to do myself. I just thought I would share this link with you guys and gals just in case you crack your Q10 and want to attempt to fix it, this video helped me out a lot. I hope this helps out any who does repairs or wants to fix a Q10 LCD screen. They also show you in the video how to put it all back together again, these guys and gals did a great job

    Hi there,

Thank you, I had to change the video and I made another post about the keyboard. When I first posted this it only showed the Keyboard video so I edited the post so that it now shows the video on the LCD screen replacement

Thank you, I will try my best. I have a nice protective case for it now so hopefully it will help me keep my screen safe

I closed the redundant thread and consolidated the two videos, then edited the title so you can cover both subjects. One stop shopping! And thanks for posting!

Do the BB screens still have the 001/002 numbering scheme?

Hi there sorry. It is an Amoled screen. No they didn't make them like the Bold 9900 were you had 001/002/003/004. The screens are all the same which makes replacing them so much easier. I used an old tool kit I had for fixing older BlackBerries and iPhone's which worked perfectly for my Q10. A Torx 4 and a Philips screwdriver is required for this. You will also need a ply or a plastic pick to help you with removing some of the parts. This repair can be done by someone who has never done a repair before, all you need are the parts and the time

Just a quick question. Is the phone unusable if the screen is cracked?

Did you need any adhesive when you had to put it together? Mine broke a few months ago since I could not find a hard cover case. I have a case now and the screen works. I have an old tool kit and bought a replacement screen but I noticed it has a lot of adhesive tape I have to remove does it just stick back together?

Hi there, no you do not need adhesive for the repairs. They are very easy to do, this video helped me change the Amoled screen on my Q10.
