    unicode emoji support has been implemented in 10.2

    We have leaked several 10.2 builds, 1047 is the most recent one from our team. You would have to wait several more months for the official OS 10.2 release.

    I have the leaked 10.2 .1047. And still no Unicode emoji support yet. Blackberry really needs this ASAP.

    Again you have unicode emoji support for viewing only, it appears as though we will not receive the input ability for this at any time. So if you are looking to input unicode emojis you're out of luck.

    No I don't see anything but boxes when an iPhone user sends me a emoji. I am sure when the final release of 10.2 is let out we will be able to? Thanks

    I can't wait until I can see iPhone emojis. It gets annoying when I have to tell people all I can see are black boxes when I receive a text message.

    Exactly... I can't see them and then they ask me a question about them and 9 times out of 10 in leads to them "proving" to me that the blackberry is so inferior. Ughhh....[BOX][/BOX]
