Never heard of such a thing, I doubt that would be possible because a cell phone carrier would lose out money if they were to provide that service.

Best advice and easiest way to accomplish this. Purchase 2 Sims and swap them out when needed. Unfortunately BlackBerry 10 devices don't support Dual-Sim.

How would they lose money?the person would be paying for 2 phone lines instead of 1.

Do you need a 2nd line in general or two specific to ATT? If you don't need a specific line, you could get a voip number and get a softphone SIP app (I use Bria BB Edition).

Easiest way would be to just have your land line forwarded to your mobile number when you're not at the office.

I have Vonage as the provider of my business line. They have a feature they call SimulRing, which is not exactly like call forwarding. Like the name implies, when activated, it will ring on my office phones and simultaneously on another phone I choose, which is my Passport. This seems to provide the functionality you are looking for. Perhaps you might look to Vonage (and I assume other VoIP providers) for your business line. Good luck.

This. If you go with a good VOIP provider, they may be able to port in your landline number (at least, they can do this in Canada -- I'm not sure whether the US has the same local number portability rules).

Have been "switching" sims from one Q10 to another. Was told by ATT that I could add another phone recognized by ATT. Go to ATT and get/buy a sim card and install. Cost would be an additional $25.00 per mo to the usual bill. Got this info around Aug 2015.

I want to do away with the ll, adding call forwarding would cost money even if I did not. I also want to be able to make calls from the second number to clients and not give my personal number.

But you have to physically switch sims, right? I don't want to do that.

20 years ago when people started getting mobile phones two phone no contracts were readily available, I had one - one sim and two numbers, cost me about $5 on top of my contract. it was almost a hard sell to get me to buy it. after 6 months I went back to just one number. most people did not need it then, surprising how few and far between these contracts are now when we are using our phones more and quite a lot of us need it.
above said I think dual sim adaptors are available for the moment although the increase in number of dual sim phones available is increasing so theres getting les market for them.
