I got my Q10 on May 1st and today dropped my Q10 for the first time from ear level.. surprisingly, the phone didn't get damaged and the screen wasn't damaged at all which is good since I dropped the phone on a concrete floor.. the only damage done to the phone was on the back cover, and the rubber was slightly scuffed. The good thing about the back cover is the pattern makes dings and scratches not noticeable, and im surprised how well the Q10 held up when dropped.. good job on this phones hardware, Blackberry.

That's great that the phone wasn't damaged at all. Sounds like pretty good build quality to me

I would agree I had dropped another device (pineapple phone) which resulted in a lot of scratches and dints on the edge

It is clearly apparent that blackberry have used a more stable material.

I honestly think that they should have made this devise a unibody because the battery life is insane.

Because we're Canadian, we make things the right way.

Don't get me wrong, others do the right things, just not as right as us!!

Screen and sides of the phone remain undamaged. Only the back cover has a small scratch.. because the case is rubber, and the design/pattern is diagonal, you can't notice the scratch

I dropped mine within 24 hours of getting it in a parking lot. Same experience. There are some scary threads about dropped Z10s though. Glad I waited for the Q.

Mostly the middle part was damaged, few dents but can be replaced.
