    Dear All,

    Good day to you all...

I am facing a problem with the low ringer volume since the official release of OS 10.3.1. i have tried to update using leaks OS, the final release i used is the 10.3.2.798 thinking that the problem is solved. the low notification volume caused many problems with who called me and texted me. so finally i decided to downgrade to 10.2.1 until Blackberry releases an official update with the problem solved.

when updating to 10.3.2.500 i received the message telling me that i can not downgrade to 10.3.1. after updating to .798 i tried LINK to downgrade to official 10.3.1 and then to 10.2.1 but it wont work. i used an autoloader for 10.2.1 but also did not work, once it starts after a while it stops.

Can any one help me in this?

    Regards,

    Sari

I used BlackBerry Link to downgrade back to 10.2.1. If you check BlackBerry Link you can see an option to "reinstall the OS software" if your device doesn't turn on or computer doesn't see it, etc. When you start that procedure it will load an OS to your device automatically and you will be able too see the installing progress on your PC. I did that several times and BlackBerry Link offered me to install a 10.2.1 version. I' m not sure if it offer to everyone, but it did for me.

The other way is using an autoloader. I don't have a direct link to it, but if you search on the Internet for 10.2.1 autoloaders you will be able to find whichever you like. There you will see as well instructions on how to load it.

Oh, thanks to Thurask, here is a link to all the autoloaders.

    No, no, no, no!!

You cannot go back once on 10.3.2. There is new theft protection software to prevent it. Previous OSes are blacklisted.

That is why i could not downgrade, hmmmm then i should wait for another updated OS that includes a fixed low notifications volume fixed.

As you know, is there any method to increase the volume at this moment while waiting for a new OS?

If you tried the 10.3.2.798 autoloader already for a clean install, then there is one other workaround. Download the BlackBerry chimes and ringtones off the net, and then use a program like audacity to raise the levels. Put them on your device and use them instead. It will blow the speakers out if you want.

Wait, 10.2.1 autoloader won't work anymore? Blacklisted I read above. Cool tech. But sad to hear.

Wait, can't you just use a 10.2.1 autoloader?
