    Hi
I've had the Q10 for a couple of weeks now and everything is great except that certain file types don't have an option to download in the browser(mp3,mp4,3gp) it only plays the file
While other file types(pdf for ex.) download directly
My question is how can I chose to download the files that the browsers chosses to play
I ve tried looking into the settings for an option to do so but couldn't find anything.

    Any help is appreciated

Long hold on the link to the file, once the menu pops up, drag it to the left for more options and click on "Save linked file" which has the chain-and-checkmark icon.

Hmm. They probably overlooked that scenario.

Here's a somewhat complicated workaround until they add a save function to their embedded players:

Once you have the file playing in the browser, click on the address bar. Keep the original link there and add this text around it:

    In front: "data:text/html,<a href="
    Behind: ">download</a>"

So, for example, I found this (completely random, don't judge me!) MP3 link online. The embedded player opens to "http://linkmusic.webs.com/12. Goodbye.mp3".

Change that to "data:text/html,<a href=http://linkmusic.webs.com/12. Goodbye.mp3>download</a>" and you will get a blank page with a link to the file saying "download". Long hold on that and you should get a Save Linked File option.

Me either--don't have that option in the slide out. Only have "copy", "share", and "open in browser"
