Can you get to Burlington? If so, check out "Global Mobility Products" (GMP)

Sent my wife's Q10 in to BlackBerry for repairs and was charged 75 dollars. BlackBerry said water damaged cause the double typing issue.

I currently have issues with my BlackBerry Q10 purchased in May 2013. I double typing in December 2013 after dropping the phone in snow, I personally think it IS related to water damage.. I am rough with my phones, I can admit it. It's not totally awful, sometimes the space bar is annoying (adding periods unnecessarily) otherwise, the keys work fine..

No idea of a place in Toronto. Check Splendid China Tower across from Pacific Mall, there is a place called Toronto Repair ran by an amazing guy named Eddie, Google the store name!
He has done work with all my old BlackBerry's (Pre BlackBerry 10). I want to say he also works on BlackBerry 10 devices, give him a shot. Always OEM parts & great service/price/warranty.

    Best of luck,

This spot in Toronto at Yonge and Eglinton is great. Many times they fix your phone right in front of you.

I was just there last night because I had a mishap and a headphone jack broke off while I was listening to music on my red Q5. A small piece of it was stuck deep in the headphone port and I couldn't get out - he replaced it in 5 minutes for $20. Tell him the guy with the red Q5 sent you lol.

No I don't see how it could have been. She takes care of it likes it her precious and its even been in an otterbox case since day 1 (which would not really protect it from water damage)

Blackberry is either in denial, or unaware this is a common issue caused by a weak design, or build, or both.

Either way, the "water damage" diagnosis is a slap in the face.

I really want to support this Canadian company, and I think Chen is a great leader. Yet this Q10 problem, and BlackBerry's lack of ownership, makes me reluctant to go for a Passport.

If Passport shares the same flaw, what a pain it will be to have a constantly deteriorating keyboard, only to have to argue with support to have it fixed.
