    Anyone else have a problem when they press a key that double letters appear? Ie. aa mm ii kk dd eetc (lol just happened with the e on etc) It happens sporadically but atleast once in a sentence. Happens the most with the m key. Assuming it's a hardware fault not SW.

    Not really....sometimes it's a software fault.

    Try reloading the OS or upgrading to the next. If it continues there may be dust or tiny debris under the keys. Try a blast of compressed air.

    Fixing this via software is very rare, usually this really is a hardware related issue. You can try the compressed air method mentioned above. You can also try to gently massage the keys with your thumbs. Sometimes dirt particles can get under the keys and by applying this gently force you might be able to fix this.

    If that doesn't help, I'm afraid you'll need to get your keyboard exchanged. Either by doing it yourself (faster, but voids warrenty) or by returning it for warrenty repair.

    Yes there was a post somewhere in the forum about this problem with keypad on Q10. I do occasionally have "aa" or maybe it's just me typing faster than I see? Can't remember if it was keyboard or software, I'm just guessing it's the keyboard. Either get it checked &/replaced.

    Weird. Before asking I did do a search for "double" and that thread didn't show up. Cheers for the link though.

    Ive been in india for the last 4 weeks - so make sense it's the dust problem. I'll try give it a clean and factory reset. Its only 2 months old so at least I can warranty repair it.
