Do you use Gmail? One possible cause of what you are experiencing is if you have an automatically applying filter setup on your Gmail webmail interface that puts a label on certain messages that come into your inbox. When it does this, the BlackBerry Hub will have a message for the inbox one and a duplicate for the labeled one.

    Yes it's a Gmail account

Don't recall changing any filters, but do you know how to reverse / correct this?

    Thx

Do you use conversation view? Because that is just how it works, emails with multiple tags show multiple times.
Gmail automatically adds important tags, so if that Important folder is synced to your device it will show two entries for incoming mails.

There are ways to stop Gmail from automatically applying this label, or you can just disable the Important folder from showing on IMAP.

Kind of wish Gmail on BlackBerry didn't have this issue...it is annoying since if you aren't careful and you delete both the inbox and filed one, it removes the label and it will be unlabeled in All Mail then.

In fact, that, along with Select More and taking action on multiple times not always respecting sync settings are my two only gripes with the Hub.

Just follow some simple steps to reverse this problem.

    - Wipe down from the top of the screen to access Settings
    - Find menu Accounts and go ahead your Gmail account
    - Scroll up until you see a menu "Edit Folder Settings"
    - Now, turn off "Sync All Emails Folders" and mark which folders you want to sync (inbox, drafts and sent mail are defaults)

    Enjoy!
