I upgraded th OS thru the verizon push update to version 2976. I had always had my browser blocked using parental control. After the upgrade it was no longer blocked so I went back into parental control and again blocked the browser. But, now, instead of removing the icon it just greys it out. It is there, but faded. Doesn't work, but it is annoying.

Now I tried to reboot. Guess what, browser is back! (and usable)

Updating through OTA is always a crapshoot.
Download an OS and run the aiutoloader. That ought to work.

I already ran the OTA upgrade. What can I do now? Also, everything else seems perfect. It's just this issue

Run the autoloader. You can create a backup first or just start fresh, but (imo) stay away from carrier os's.
