    Please any reason why my display sucks up most of my battery? I got brightness set to zero, time out at 30 seconds but I feel the percentage consumption is still high.

    what do you call " I feel the percentage consumption is still high.." . How long does the battery last on your phone?
    your display is not that critical..

    My take is as follows :
    1/ disable location and background app refresh for facebook
    2/disable loaction and background app refresh for twitter/crackberry and any other apps. Only refresh when you open up.
    3/if you have an app that continually checks whats left of your battery and you check it yourself - it will use more battery.
    4/ if you travel and/or are in poor reception, turn on airplane mode. the reason ? the phone will continually try to get your data and can't . it will heat up and drain your battery.

    try this and see how it goes. it is not the OS.

    In Device Monitor what is the % number showing against Display, mine is <0.01% (Brightness nil and White Balance on 50/100).

    I did a screen shot but haven't been able to attach it. Right now it's at 16% while the next, system is at 4%. Sometimes it goes as high as 25%.

    Mine is at 16% also, you probably don't have anything to worry about...

    Forgot to add - I'm getting fine battery life with this reading that's the reason for saying that you probably don't have anything to worry about.

    Okay thank you guys. I get about 11 hrs of battery life. Just thinking I will get much more if my display consumption wasn't this high.

    If you use a darker background instead of lighter brighter colors, that will help cut down display power usage. After all it is a AMOLED display.
