Maybe they put an equalizer or at least options for improving the sound according to the type of music like OS 7 had?

Hi and nope. I don't think any of that has been done to the native player. If they did, I have missed it in 10.2.1 leak.

I dont know if this is new or not... but if I close the music app and open it again later, the now playing track resumes from when I closed it. Never noticed it before.

Thanks for the reply and I'm resisting the urge to rant right now On a positive side note....on the new BOSE SIE2i headphones (made for apple) there's buttons on the cord to skip to next track, increase or lower volume, and of course the middle button to answer call/initiate voice/mute - I was happy yesterday to discover all of those buttons and features work with the Q10!!

You mean if you close the app entirely? Mine does not do that, only if the music is paused with the app still open. I'm on AT&T latest official 2030 release.

Yes, if the app is entirely closed (no active frame). I'm finding it to be a pleasant little feature. This is on leaked 10.2.1.1055.

Yep that's an added feature. It remembers where you left off. A new UI change and an FM radio has been added.

I paid $5 for the Neutron music player, which is available in BlackBerry world and has an excellent equalizer.
