I have a blackberry Q10 that has black pixels on half of the screen. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to diagnose whether or not the digitizer is broken or if it is a motherboard problem.

    Thanks

You mean half the screen is black?
Or are there just lots of dead pixels
The latter just means you either got a lemon, or banged your device too many times
The former would suggest maybe a loose cable or connector. I doubt the "motherboard" is broken

The screen can easily be replaced...
Post us a photo... maybe someone recognizes the problem and suggests a solution

The large majority of the pixels on the right side were black only. I replaced the digitizer and it works perfectly again. Thanks for the suggestions!
