How do I delete a bbm contact on the Q10 without deleting the whole contact?

Within BBM, select the contact by long press, and side menu with trash can will show, click on the can and it will promt you to delete.

So I'm on the Contact screen, but when I touch the BBM line it just opens up without a chance to delete it.

Press and hold and the menu will pop up on the side.

okay found the edit button but that did not remove them as a bbm contact

You have to do this in the BBM app...long press on the contact IN the app and you will see the menu pop up. click on the trash can and a pop up will ask if you want to block future invitations. Don't check that off if you still want the ability to re add the person.
