Hello, i'm suffering this issue, i've made the BBVE test and sometimes works and sometimes not working (says that far is near and near is near)

It's terrible issue, calls silenced, typing numbers, hang ups, it's driving me crazy

Sometimes proximity sensor acts and works but most of times fails.

Could be a firmware issue? Mine 1.3.2.2836
Has been wiped but nothing. Q10 SQN100-3

The Last solution i've thinked is change digitizer

It's not a firmware issue as there would be many others complaining about it as well. If you wiped it and it's still doing it, you need to consider the odds it's a hardware issue.

From the sounds of your complaints, it's mostly only an issue when you are using the device for phone calls. Have you though of (or tried) simply turning the screen off during a call manually with the lock button?

It won't "fix" the problem but it should at least cause less nuisance for you.

if i lock screen in a call sometimes it turn on when the sensor belives that i'm far, there isnt an option to ignore sensor when you lock manually

Be careful if you buy another screen in hope of changing your sensor, ive ordered 3 screens since 2 years, but none of them had a prox. sensor.

I also have this problem where I accidentally hang up on phone calls when the phone is next to my face (happened when I was on the phone to my wife just today actually). Glad to hear it isn't just me. I will try locking the screen first, thanks for the tip.
