I don't use twitter, so I wouldn't know. Facebook is dumb enough, but I use that since all of my friends use it so it's a useful communication tool. And Twitter is like a ******** version of Facebook...

Haha. I actually don't have much friends on twitter either, but its a great way to get news, and of course, little snippets of information that normally won't be posted on the front page. Just need to follow the right person.
