Yes, you got me. That's what Cisco uses to (briefly) show the idea of an auto-checkout as you leave a store. Neat.

That makes at least a faint suggestion that BB10 is on Cisco's radar.

Cool little commercial. I don't think of Cisco as dazzling audiences with commercials, but this one was short, to the point, and very effective at showing what Cisco can be used for.

BlackBerry could learn from commercials like this.

I just searched youtube and was surprised how many great commercials they have. I wonder how serious they are with purchasing BlackBerry? I doubt they would continue hand sets though. For me, that wouldn't be a great outcome.

We actually don't know for sure that they WOULDN'T. I think the biggest limiting factor for consumer adoption of the BB10 platform right now is the perception that BlackBerry itself is "doomed". Come to think of it, that covers enterprise adoption, too.

If a partner with deep pockets like Cisco stepped in, I think there's an excellent chance we'd see an almost instant resurgence in BB sales, especially given how well BB10 has been enhanced since launch.

It would be great to have a well respected company such as Cisco buy BlackBerry. It would bring about a different perspective and perception immediately. For myself, I just want them to continue the hardware. Like you said, there is a chance they would. Can't wait until Nov 4th to see where BlackBerry is headed.
