In my 9650 9930 you can go to your contacts and then click options. It would show you how many contacts you had per address book. Is there a way to do this on the Q10?

In 10.2, the number of contacts will get displayed at the beginning of the list of contacts.

In 10.x, go to Contacts, then click the "address book" icon in the lower left corner and select an individual email account (assuming your contacts are associated with your email accounts). Then pull down at the top of the list and it will show you the number of contacts associated with that account.

Tried deleting some but it only allows me to select one at a time :-(

Not sure if this works on 10.1, but open the Contacts app and drag the list downwards. The number of contacts in the selected category should be at the top.
