I was comparing the 'efficiency / effort' required to compose an email from my default email account when I am inside the hub vs being on the home screen. As far as I can tell, it can be done in two steps from both locations, albeit differently.

1) Inside the hub:
- type 'c' on the keyboard
- tap on the screen to select the default email account

2) Home screen:
- type 'e' on the keyboard and 'Compose Email' is returned at the top of the search (I appreciate this may not be the case for everyone)
- type the return key and one is taken straight to the compose message screen

The difference, then, is that from inside the hub, it's type and then tap; from the home screen it is type and type. I appreciate there may be lots of other ways (I'm still learning how to use the phone) but I was wondering, does anyone know of a way to compose an email from inside the hub in two steps using only the keyboard to get to the compose message screen?

Didn't know the 'c' shortcut for composing email while in the hub either. Thanks for that! The more keyboard shortcuts the better, I say.
