Hi,

I recently bought myself a new BlackBerry Q10. After using it for about 3 days I've discovered that a fret placed on the bottom of the keyboard is slightly damaged. I've been using the phone very carefully and I don't know when or how this happend. I'm thinking about raporting this damage to my carrier. Do you think the damage is under a warranty?

I definitely think you should report it. My 9650 has the paint chip off the keys after about 5 months and some keys were obliterated! They gave me a really hard time to replace it but you should contact them anyway!!!!!!

Nope, not under the manufactures warranty. If you purchased the device protection plan, drop your phone hard, send Assurion $150, and they will give you a new device.

Edit: you have 14 days to return the phone back to the carrier. Try that instead.

No harm in inquiring as to whether the damage is covered under warranty. The worst they could tell you is no it isn't.

I agree with Amy, doesn't hurt to ask. Last time I called AT&T customer service to ask about something I got into like a 30 minute conversation (no longer about the phone) with the lady, lol. I guess she was bored, but hey, I'm not complaining...
