Hi guys,
I try to create an event to my calender direct from a email message in my hub. But I can only choose 'create an invite for meeting'. Can anyone tell how to change this option into a 'create new event'?

Please update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. This makes it easier for others to help you.

The "Invite to Meeting" works to create a new event. When the new event opens, you merely have to delete the email address of the person who sent you the email. The event will be populated with the email message body. Just adjust the date/time and reminder and click save.

"Invite to Meeting" is the only method now, just disregard the term "meeting" and use that choice to create a calendar event/appointment - here are 2 workarounds for using "Invite to Meeting" to make the calendar entry a simple appointment or event:

1) after completing / editing all entries for the calendar event simply delete email addresses from "Participant" section, then choose "Save". This will populate your calendar with no emails inviting participants.

2) after completing / editing all entries for the calendar event, choose "Save" then on the following "Send Invitation" pup-up screen simply choose "Don't Send". Calendar event created - same as above
