Just curious because I know you could change the red blinking light to multiple colors on the BB Bold..can you do this with the Q10?! The guy at verizon told me it wasn't possible but I don't trust him.

Not natively, but you can change the colour of the LED for individual notifications using third-party apps such as Hub++ or BeBuzz Pro.

There are a few apps that can do this on OS10 phone. Bebuzz and Hub+ come to mind. With the current iteration of the OS10 software, third parties cannot make apps to run in the background, so these programs need to be left running to work.

Yeah you can. My favorite app has been bebuzz...had it on my previous BB's (it's even cheaper on BB10!). Also, the only downside (for now) is that you would need to keep the app open as an active frame for it to function properly! This will not be required when BBRY releases headless APIs...around the 10.2 update.

There are a few around that are free.. do a search in BB world! (may have few restrictions on it as it's the free version but it may suffice. check it out!) Think Color ID has a free version.

    Hello!

I have used free colour ID for notifications for years. "Colour ID" is free, but you only get the option of using it for two contacts (the other version of Colour ID that you pay for lets you have more contacts). What I've been using for years is "Who Is It?" It's great. The old version had four contacts you could add for colour ID's, and the new BlackBerry 10 app gives you five free colours for five contacts: yellow, blue, white, pink, and green. I highly recommend it.
