    My wife has an extremely annoying habit of pinging my phone constantly. I beg her to stop but in her mind it's only when it's urgent (even though it has never once actually been urgent). I just want it off, but cannot find anyway to do that.

    I don't presume there is a way to prevent receiving pings, is there?

    Does your Q10 vibrate when you get a ping? Mine never does..

    Haven't noticed it vibrate. It may or may not, not sure.

    Thanks everyone. I didn't think there would be a way but figured I'd ask.

    Just telling the wife that I myself will personally ignore her pings, lol.

    weird my q5 doesnt vibrate on pings at all ;/ i asked a question how to turn the vibrate on lol

    I think you're confusing BBM Pings with PIN messages.
