I travel a lot on work, and I would like to know if I can swap my sim with an another sim of another carrier when I land in another country, without changing the settings of my Q10.
I just need to know if my email settings and social media app settings will remain unchanged or not ?

i travel to shanghai china twice a year for work and swap my optus sim (aus) for a china unicom - prepaid sim.
    no problems on the Q10

also traveled to bali, indonesia (work/leisure) and swapped with a telkom simpati (sim) and all is good, email, instagram, pinterest, twitter, linkedin, bbm. fb works too, but rarely used.

    my Q10 is unlocked SQN100-3

Yes, with a couple of caveats:

    1) your phone needs to be unlocked
    2) whatever other carrier you use needs to be running a network your phone can connect to.
