For best, I mean maximum quality pictures on your q10 switch to 4:3 aspect ratio and turn on stabilization

    Turn on stabilization mode

And for moving shots just switch to normal mode and click action

    Good advise....

My best tip is do a lot of testing and figure out what works best for you in different situations.... Stabilization works great with a lot of light, but it makes low light images worse.

Good tips, i'd also recommend trying out the burst option for action shots

We've been using the burst mode a lot lately - seems to be the only way to catch him smiling and laughing!

Play with the timeshift function. Works great on squirmy things.

Especially for pictures with foliage and sky, or other bright colours, you can bring otherwise dull pictures to life by immediately opening the picture after capture, selecting 'Edit' from the overflow menu, selecting the 'Enhance' tab and tapping the 'Saturation' tool. No adjustment is generally required, but you can use the slider to tweak the screen to match the scene; colours will be more vibrant. Tap save and compare the difference. Occasionally I use the 'Auto Enhance' tool in the same way, but Saturation generally produces the best results.

I normally Flash to manual. As depends on how creative you can be with availability of lighting. But snapshots for night party in lowlight condition I use flash.

but why switch to 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 I thought the higher the better?

@ bullguard8, with 4:3 you will be able to get the maximum available resolution, while 16:9 reduces it..
