I just entered a new item into my calendar and then while talking to the person about the meeting I wanted to go back and add some information but it was not there. So I entered it again and it disappeared again. So I looked a little harder and realized it was posting everything to the local calendar which I don't use. We have an exchange server and use active sync. So everything I post on my blackberry shows up in outlook.

It doesn't look to me like there is an option to set the default calendar you want to post to. This option did exist before the maintenance release. So now every time I want to post something in my calendar I have to remember to change the calendar it posts too. ugh....

Go into the Settings, then accounts, then at the bottom on the menu click on "Set Defaults".

Alternatively, click on the Search button on your main screen (Beside the phone and camera icon). Type in "Calendar Default" and search the help. It should be the first help result.

Did you remember to press Save in the top right corner?

yes I clicked save but it was going into the local calendar which I have turned off.
