My Q10 is from May 2013. There have been no issues. However, when I put it next to a iPhone 5/s, it's notable that the BlackBerry Q10's screen is VERY yellow.


The screen is also catching fingerprints a lot easier now, maybe the coat of print resistance is gone?..

You'll notice the same thing if you put the Q10 up against a Z10 as well. It's because the Q10 has a super amoled screen, whereas the iPhone and Z10 have LCD screens. The super amoled screen is supposed to be much less of a power drain because it shuts the screen off for all black pixels for a true black experience. I personally don't like how dim/yellow it is, and would much prefer an LCD screen. But at the end of the day it's not a big deal for me.

here are my q10s different year build

bought my Q10 in June 2013. been used and abused as my daily driver since. it's built like a brick ****house and has had zero issues. really exceptional build quality and it's only gotten better/faster with each software update. I've seen no dip in battery life either. I hope to have this phone for a few more years. no rush to "upgrade" to anything else. it ages like a fine wine.
