Good move! I did the same with iPhone 5c. Best of both worlds! You can switch your SIM card back and forth as needed.

I just ordered my Q10. I've never owned a BlackBerry but I'm super excited! I'm afraid that my Nexus 6 might start collecting dust.

    Adapter... :-)

just get the nano and a micro adapter. I just ordered three, so I can use Passport, Z10, Q10 and yes, even Torch 9810 with the same SIM...

(make sure you're not damaging the SIM slots when using and inserting adapters)

Be careful using third party adapters in your BlackBerry devices. Since bb's use the slide in method rather than the sim tray method, the pins are more prone to get stuck within the adapter. I'd make sure to use a high quality adapter if anything.

Agreed!! I tried putting my sim card with an adapter into my old 9900, the sim got stuck! And snapped in half and broke the pins! I was not happy

Actually yes you can. You just need to line the pins up. It's easy. I was doing it every other day. If you just look at the Q10 SIM card you can see the big blank space with no pins. The nano SIM just doesn't have that space.

You don't need an adopter and it lines up perfectly as described in the following thread.

No thanks. Not worth the risk busting up a $1000 phone. Appreciate the tip though.

You're just sliding in a SIM card. There's no risk. It's just the nano SIM slides into the bottom portion of the Q10's slot is all.

Buy hey, I never download leaked OSs for they same reason. Gotta do what you're happy with.

I agree. I have an iPhone 6 Plus, but I recently picked up another Q10 (I had one when they launched but sold it last year) because I missed BB10 and using a physical keyboard for email and stuff.

I'm thinking about getting a Classic or maybe even a Passport for the bigger screen (Q10 seems minuscule after using a 6 Plus for so long), but I don't think I'd use enough to warrant the price tag at the moment.

I found that the Q10 keyboard is ideal. Classic is plain bigger so there's more space you need to cover. Passport is even bigger and hugely inefficient give the tiny space bar and three row layout with no numbers and shift/alt.

Concessions abound. I've found that grass is greener and settled on the Q10 side. I'm debating whether to sell the iphone 6 or not.

    i bought my q10 2nd hand (traded my bold 9700 & torch 9800)

i was using an iPhone 5s bought an nano to micro adaptor. using a small amount of double sided tape - to ensure the nano sim did not fall out when inserting into the q10.

    all good

so, whenever i swap phones i'm careful/cautious not to get the sim adaptor stuck.

I'm toying with the idea of using the Q10 as a secondary device when it is time for me to continue my telco contract.

Maybe I will get a "normal" android phone, and I'd use the Q10 to tap on the android's wifi.

My only concern is Whatsapp's inability to be installed on 2 phones, using the same phone number :|
