My Q10 isn't pairing with my PB

Whenever I try, I get the error message " cannot connect with playbook.."

Did you update to the newest version from a few days ago? If yes did you try to remove your old connection and then try to reconnect? Also what OS are you running 10.2.1.1055 is having issues with the bridge but the most recent update fixed that.

Tried removing previous record of pairing and re-added. Still the same.

    I'm using the 10.2.0.1767

It works best to re-pair with the Playbook using the Bridge app rather than doing it through you Bluetooth settings.

I find the Playbook is more glitchy than the phone, so I would do this from the Playbook side of the connection rather than on the phone. Sometime the PB's bluetooth needs to be cycles off/on to get it to work.

I did that too, but it would get stuck in the countdown timer and wouldn't bridge.

I would re-pair it and both device would show the authorization numbers. When I confirm on both and tried to connect, it would say the it couldn't connect

I take it you deleted both devices from each other and started the bridge connection from scratch? I've had to do that a few times.

Yup did that too. But i'll keep trying. Will also try a few reboots on both devices.

At first I thought my BT might be broken because of the update to 10.2 but tried connecting it with other phones and it worked ok

Got it working. Removed all previously paired device on both the PB and BB. Then uninstalled bridge on BB and restarted both.

Then installed bridge on bb10, and restarted again.

After that it bridged right away.

Can you send/recieve data through bluetooth when bridged? I can't seem to SEND anything to my PlayBook via bluetooth...

You can use the share function to open documents on the Playbook. Then, on the Playbook you can "save as" to save a local copy.

I'll try that again, I couldn't find how to do that, it wasn't in the settings gesture, and it wasn't an option by holding down on the photo/music...

Can someone confirm how to do this? Just tried again and I can't seem to do it...

File manager - device - media card - open - photo - then swipe down, nothing, touch and hold, nothing.

Also tried not actually opening the file and touch and hold the file link, nothing....

It's oddly found in the Share menu. You will see your Playbook listed there.

Right. If you select that option and then grab your Playbook, swipe down from the top bezel on the Playbook to get "save as" option.

Haha it doesn't work!! Honest! Nothing comes when swiping

I've tried all 4 corners turning it round and round aswell, plus I've tried tapping it so that 'done' appears in the top left corner THEN swiping and still nothing....
