Bluetooth Issue - Help!
I have a 2012 Toyota Camry and today I connected my phone to the car. The phone call aspect is perfect but where the issue lies is with the media. When connecting to bluetooth, my phone/car automatically brings up my music and wants to play it. This is quite annoying as I do not want nor plan to have music on my BlackBerry. Additionally because I do not have music on it, it keeps popping up with an error basically saying that no media was found. Normally I would not care because I would click okay and use the phone but the error continues to appear. Regardless if I cancel the media or acknowledge the error, it returns and I am unable to use my phone.
Another individual told me to try the BlackBerry Link and so I turned that off and yet it is still happening.
Any ideas? This issue is making me unable to use my phone correctly in the car which is a BIG issue for me.
Thank you so much!

Looking for a way to not have my media come up via bluetooth if possible. I appreciate any help :)

I have a similar problem witha A2DP headset, I think the OS is missing the feature to disable media streaming for certain devices.

Really?! Ugh...this is a big problem. I need to have a resolution to this as I am on my bluetooth constantly while driving.
Any ideas? I appreciate your information.

Any other thoughts? I am desperate :(

Pair it as a "phone only" and that will disable to media streaming capabilities.

My phone is already connected via bluetooth. Any ideas how I could disable their existing connection and then re sync it? It automatically syncs to my car now.

Same discussion is going on here (http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...my-car-846484/) but the cliff notes version is that you can "disconnect music" services but once you reconnect the Q10 it will automatically turn on the music sync again. The Q10 has no option to disable A2DP so we're stuck with having to stop the music from playing every time we get into the car.

What is interesting to note that my BT headset although supporting A2DP doesn't play music right a way. However, when I have both connected to it (only the Q10 is A2DP) and do a call on the second one, as soon as I hang up, the Q starts playing music.
