Hello,

while typing on the Q10 , the Alt key works alone ( get active ) and this is annoying !!
is it a software problem or hardware problem ?!

HI there, can you explain further what you mean by the ALT key workd alone (get active) ...you mean it is on without you even pressing it ? Does it stay the same after you press again to de-activate it ?

yea it is on without even pressing it ! but after you press it deactivate !

It will do that on mine when I put it In my belt case, I think the key gets press when I insert it in the case, doesn't happen any other times.

I have a keyboard repair underway as of today due to my R key playing up. If I still get the alt issue, which I have regularly seen when opening my flip case I will let you know. Suspect its more software than hardware though, so we may have to live with this awhile....

it didn't get wet or something ! it's been un-boxing from 2 weeks so still new !
any way sometime i am using it without typing just flipping the apps and the Alt key turn on ! i'm trying to do a software update but it's 1028 mb
and i see after the update what will happen

as i've told others- it is a hardware issue. had the same with my letter 'o' and got a replacement
