I read this on facebook and honestly the only thing i wanna know is when it's being released in the US.. I dont care about anything else.

It is a nice, short compilation about this device. However I miss a few things Blackberry hasn't answered yet:
1. App situation
What kind of apps can we expect, will all announced "major" apps by the partners be available for the Q10? Must each app manually be optimized for the Q10 so it can run?

2. Availability
Blackberry reps just stated a short "april" availability. However, what does it mean? Will april again be a UK first release, with other countries following up later? Is april the US launch with other countries getting it sooner? Maybe april will even be US launch with other countries getting it later.

3. BB10 adjustments
What about those dark, AMOLED optimized themes Blackberry was talking about. Are those optional or will the Q10 have "forced" dark themes you can't switch for the usual white themes we know from the Z10.

I really can understand the Z10 is the more important device for Blackberry, however I think they don't give the Q10 the attention and information pool it deserves.

We'll they're not going to give the Q10 it's attention until it's the Q10's time! They want to sell the Z10 now

I cannot imagine the z10 outdoing the q10.. the q10 is the most anticipated out of the two. And will outsell the z10. Dumb move on their part.

Think the Q10 needs a lot of work.
Most of the focus was on optimising BB10 for the Z10, so may be a little while before we get the Q10 out, which would be a shame

Sorry ... just look at the interest on Crackberry . 10 posts on the Z10 vs 1 for the Q 10 ... That is just an indication . Google hits 4 to 1 in favour of the Z10. The interest in the Z10 has always outstripped the X-Q10 before and after the launch. The Z10 will outsell the Q10 by a margin. That is OK by me. BB is the only phone manufacturer to give us an up to date QWERTY smart phone in the classic format.

There is only more interest b/c the Q10 wont be out for another 2 months or more even! Qwerty all the way.. But thats me.

Well ok you have a point but let's wait and see how far apart or close, the statistics are when the Q10 is released on the market.

What are you basing that on? I reserved a Z10 and a Q10 through the Rogers online reservation system and the line for the Z10 was in the Thousands, the line for the Q10 is in the Hundreds. Less than 500 right now.

lol your also in canada im assuming? your lucky you can reserve both at the same time. the rest of us have to wait months for the q10. statistics are different in the us and you dont know what those statistics are because neither have been released here.

I'd like to know how you get that idea. Clearly the people are on the Z10s side. Not only here on Crackberry, but especially on generic mobile blogs and forums. On a german BB fansite, there is almost zero interest for the Q10 while most people are looking to get their Z10.

Errrm... Why will this new kid on the block have a bigger battery than my good'ol Z10? Its half the screen size, I'm not really too fussed my Z10 battery is doing me just fine at the moment, but still...

I guess the Z10 would've been thicker with that 2100mAH battery. My second guess is the typical Z10 buyer is more sensitive in terms of thickness than the typical Q10 buyer would be. Prior Z10 launch, the phone thickness was one of the more often mentioned topics of interest for the Z10.

from Inside Blackberry: "it can run the same apps"

There is no qualifier in the Inside Blackberry blog, I assume that means all of the big apps will be there.
