    I have had my Q10 since it was released on Verizon and the call quality isnt as good as my old Bold 9930s call quality was. I would call my girlfriend and talk to her on my breaks at work and on my 9930 I would have full bars of service and the call quality was great. Now when i talk to my girlfriend on my breaks at work with my Q10 she can barely hear me and the call often gets dropped. before making the call I will have about 2 or 3 bars of 4g coverage but as soon as i hit the call button I drop down to only 1 bar of 1x coverage. Ive also been told that call quality while using the speaker phone is also poor. Ive had the same job and same cellphone carrier in Verizon for both the 9930 and the Q10 and I dont understand how the service on the 2 devices are so different given that they have the same carrier and the service should be the same. Has anyone had the same or similar problems with their Q10s?

    Probably 4G LTE coverage in your area isn't good. Switch to 3G. Even if call quality doesn't improve, at least the call won't be dropped.

    im not able to switch to 3G. if theres a little bit of 4G availability then it will go to 4G automatically. i can t turn off 4G. Verizon wont let me

    I doubt it's the LTE signal. LTE on Verizon is data only - voice goes over the 3G network.

    Can't comment specifically on the Verizon network but I must say the Q10 had the absolute best wireless network strength for me in the two weeks I used it. Maybe you have a bad device?

    Sounds like a bad device to me ! The call quality for me so far has been fine no issues. I would take it back to Verizon and have them look at it first.

    Bring it in and complain. I have Verizon and call quality has been good, even in areas where it keeps switching to 3G.
